Nick Neville wins his first career ARP Bodies/Aluminum Racing Products Fast Qualifier Award at the Music City (TN) Motorplex.

Nashville, Tennessee (03/31/2007): The cars and stars of the series “Where Champions Race” have completed ARP Bodies/Aluminum Racing Products Qualifying at the historic Music City (TN) Motorplex in Nashville, Tennessee.

This is the second event of the Fifth Anniversary 2007 Racing Season as the Music City Spring Clash 200 for the ASALMS Challenge Division will headline racing action in Music City.

ARP Bodies/Aluminum Racing Products Qualifying is now complete as Mackinaw, Illinois Sophomore, Nick Neville ripped off the fastest lap of ARP Bodies Qualifying as the 19-year-old in his Ben E. Neville Roll Off and Trucking Services Chevrolet Monte Carlo turned a lap measured at 19.207 which equals out to 111.709 MPH.

This is Neville’s first career ASALMS Challenge Division Fast Qualifier Award and second overall. Neville won the Fast Qualifier Award in an ASALMS Southern Division event at the Rockcastle (KY) Speedway in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky back on June 17, 2006. The track record for the ASALMS in Nashville, Tennessee was set back on November 4, 2006 as Eddie Hoffman turned an 18.718 around the 0.596 Mile High-Banked Paved Oval.

Pat Bourdow Memorial Rookie of the Year title contender, Derek Thorn was second quick with a 19.244 while 17-year-old John Wes Townley timed in third fastest at a 19.273. Another Pat Bourdow Memorial Rookie contender, Andy Hanson was fourth with a 19.321 while Michael Annett rounded out the Top Five with a 19.332.

17-year-old Keeton Hanks (19.341) the 2006 Late Models Rookie of the Year at the Nashville, Tennessee speed plant was sixth followed by Current ASALMS Challenge Division Points Leader, Colt James (19.349), Charlie Menard (19.356), 19-year-old Ryan Lawler (19.370), and Peter Cozzolino (19.377) completed the Top 10.

After ARP Bodies Qualifying, Neville then drew an eight for an inversion, which will put Charlie Menard and Current ASALMS Challenge Division Points Leader, Colt James on the front row for the Music City Spring Clash 200.
